Demi: activation and connection in care
Demi is our stationary assistive robot for use in care, for people with care needs. Whether due to age, illness, injury, or other limitations. With a rotating head, voice input and output, and image recognition. Demi engages with the person in front of it, recognises faces and identifies objects in its surroundings. Movable arms enable simple movement exercises like clapping or ball-throwing. Agentic Commerce: capabilities that machines offer each other
In our research, we're exploring how software-based agents can offer their capabilities such as image analysis, route planning, or booking a service to one another on a digital marketplace. One agent provides a capability, another commissions and pays it for the compute it delivers. For fast, low-cost settlement and traceability, we're evaluating suitable blockchain-based approaches, among other options.
This topic is currently in an early research phase at jrob. We expect digital agent economies to become their own field of business in the coming years and we're already laying the groundwork today.
